  • Soon after Glenn Gribble commenced Hornsby Eastside Automotives in the late 1970’s / early 1980’s I had all my cars and my wife’s cars serviced by him. When Glenn sold his business to Nigel Hook (who rebadged it Autohaus Northshore) I was sceptical that another mechanic could be as good as him. However, immediately after my first service I could see by the professionalism that the business had gone from simple car servicing to a fully blown vehicle engineering business. This has been borne out by the ability of Nigel and his crew to solve all the complexities of modern vehicles, of every different make and type, which now have multi computers controlling every activity performed by the vehicle and which change continually. Nigel services my wife’s Mazda, my two daughter’s Mazda’s and my mother-in-law’s Hyundai with the same care and attention as he services my Audi A6-4F LE MANS TDI QUATTRO sedan. While my daughters live at Newtown and Cremorne, they will always travel to Hornsby to have their cars serviced at Autohaus Northshore.

  • I recently took my car for a service to an Audi dealer and they said I needed all my brakes replaced and it was going to cost me just over $1,800. The car has only done 45,000km so I was shocked at the amount but the dealer claimed this was normal. I did a Google search to find an alternative and found Autohaus Northshore in Hornsby. I found them incredibly helpful and efficient. They supplied me with a quote on the phone and it was less than $1,000. They assured me all the parts they used were comparable to original parts and carried the same warranty. They worked on my car while I was up the road at Westfield Shopping Centre, which was very convenient for me. I'm very happy and will use them again in future.

Maintenance Reduces Unexpected Expenses in Audi Vehicles

In order to maintain your Audi at optimal performance and minimize unexpected expensive repairs down the track, we can examine your Audi and identify any additional repairs and servicing that will protect your valuable investment. We also carry out a safety inspection at this time.

We comply with manufacturer’s log book servicing for your Audi. In some circumstances, however, it is unnecessary to perform all the recommended servicing items. In these instances, we will explain to you in detail what is recommended, what repairs or replacements we have identified and provide you with the information so YOU can make the choice. For example, the manufacturer may recommend that coolant and brake fluid be replaced “at periodic times”. We have the equipment to test these fluids and gauge whether they do in fact, require replacement. All servicing is carried out to the highest standard and fully documented. Service documents and records are kept for each car on our database. Your Peace of Mind

We use the latest high-tech equipment and OEM parts (Original Equipment Manufacturer’s parts) on all repairs and service to give you total peace of mind when it comes to quality and reliability. In addition, as a Audi service customer you are entitled to a risk-free 12 month guarantee on all replacement parts.

We aim to please because our goal is to build long-term relationships with our Audi customers. We listen and advise you on options you can take to maintain, repair and service your Audi , when it suits you. Your authorisation is required before any work proceeds on your Audi and we provide you with progress reports along the way to avoid any nasty surprises. Your invoice will reflect your quote fairly.
